Kaleem Khan, Meenu Bhakshi and Khusbeer Singh attend a Mushaira organised by the Takshila society in Patna

A mushaira was organised by the Takshila society in the city recently, which had renowned international and national poets participating in it and enthralling the Patna audience.
Kaleem Khan, Meenu Bhakshi and Khusbeer Singh represented the Indian poets’ fraternity at the event, while Dr Abdullah, Omar Salim and Kishwar Naheed came from New York, Jeddah and Islamabad respectively.They entertained the audience with their funny and sometimes, hard-hitting kalmas. Dr Abdullah received applause for setting the mood for the night with his poetry, while Kishwar Naheed’s kalmas were also throughly enjoyed by the audience. IPS officers JS Gangawar and Anil Kumar were present at the do. Apart from senior officers of the state government, literary enthusiasts comprised a major part of the audience. Even politico Sanjay Singh and Sanjeev Singh were seen sharing hearty laughs over the shayaris.
